Jesús and María have moved temporarily to East Hollywood so their 9-month old daughter, who has cancer in her eyes, can receive treatments at a nearby hospital.  Meredith offered to keep their two sons whenever their baby receives her monthly chemotherapy.  This turned into regular playdates, and our kids are becoming good friends!  Jesús and María are spending more and more time with us and our team.  We’ve had each other over for dinner and spent a day at the museum.  We’ve cried and prayed together for their baby’s health, as we’ve watched her losing her hair.  Please keep this little girl in your prayers, and pray for her parents whose hearts are aching.  In this awful season of their life, we desire to be of help in their journey toward a deeper relationship with Christ our Healer and our Hope.  -Phil
